Project Objectives
Showcase the artwork: Create a portfolio experience that puts Adam's large-scale drawings at the center, reflects his playful aesthetic, and presents his work professionally to collectors, galleries, and new audiences.
Organize the online shop: Clearly distinguish between giclée prints and custom embellished prints, with intuitive product categories, helpful FAQs, and regional fulfillment options to make the purchasing process easier to understand.
Connect the portfolio, exhibitions, and shop: Organize originals, limited editions, books, commissions, exhibitions, and studio updates into a cohesive experience that supports both the artist's professional presence and direct sales.
Design & Development
Custom Portfolio Structure: Developed a streamlined site architecture that brings artwork, exhibitions, studio updates, and the online shop together while allowing the artwork to remain the primary focus.
Custom CSS & Navigation: Added tailored styling and a distinctive “Top Secret” navigation area for secondary content, keeping the main navigation focused while providing space for additional material.
E-commerce Organization: Refined the shop layout to distinguish print offerings and clarify product information, helping customers understand the differences between available editions before purchasing.
Artist-Led Visual Design: Incorporated Adam's hand-drawn graphics, doodles, and typography throughout the website, extending the character of his artwork into the overall digital experience.
Responsive Squarespace Development: Adapted the website across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens to create a consistent browsing and shopping experience on different devices.
